McBudgeting: McDonalds Inadvertently Makes the Case For a Living Wage

Ever wonder how workers at fast food restaurants like McDonalds survive on minimum wage? Though most people readily admit that the minimum wage isn’t feasible for those who live in large urban areas like New York, Chicago or San Francisco, these same people are often hesitant to concede that the current minimum wage is unrealistic for anyone, anywhere in the United States. Thanks to a helpful budgeting tool just released by McDonalds for use by their employees in helping to budget, we all now have proof exactly how far a minimum wage salary will go and why we need a living wage.
