Mike Huckabee: Pre-Existing Conditions Same As Totaled Car Or Burned Down House

On his web show recently, David Pakman tackled Mike Huckabee’s recent statements regarding health insurance and pre-existing conditions. According to Huckabee, people with pre-existing conditions shouldn’t qualify for insurance because insuring them would be akin to insuring a house that had already burned down or a car that had already been totaled. In short: he thinks anyone with a pre-existing condition is useless, broken, and undeserving of the same health care access as their healthy counterparts. “People are no different to Mike Huckabee than any other widgets,” Pakman says at one point.
